Scott is a great designer. That much is evident. What is not so evident is that the way he thinks and communicates is equally as awesome. He explains his thought process, and likes to understand the story behind what he is designing for, ultimately that is why we went with him.
How qpac09 started their t-shirt journey
I decided to start up a t-shirt line mainly because I think it will be a fun project. I enjoy t-shirts from johnny cupcakes, pacsun, urban outfitters and would like the design to fall into that category. If chosen, I will most likely contact you for addition designs for the line.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience will be mainly Teens - Young Adults. I am mainly focusing on the younger generation that enjoy wearing trendy clothes. Shirts will be printed on American Apparel Tees.
I really like how "Johnny Cupcakes" incorporates the cupcake logo in their t-shirt designs and logo and would like to do the same with my brand. Instead of a cupcake I would like a silhouette of a baby kangaroo to be used. People should be able to recognize what the silhouette is and it also has to be different than the "Kangol Kangaroo." Below are some general requirements that I'm looking for.
- Baby Kangaroo Silhouette (this will most likely be used as the logo of the line and will be used on sweatpants, polos, etc.)
- Modern Design. Something you could possibly see in a Urban Outfitters or Pacsun.
- You do not have to use "Joey Kangaroos" on the t-shirt if you think the graphic is adequate.
I have added below a couple of links as references. The last link is an example of the type of silhouette I am looking for.
Please feel free to be as creative as you would like. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
