FFCus needed a new web page design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 43 designs submitted by 16 freelance designers.
This is a redesign for a growing auto auction company located in the United States. We are looking for a landing page, followed by an interior template. It is perfectly acceptable to see if we like the theme of the landing page before starting on the interior template.

ENTRY PAGE
The first page we’ll be doing is an entry page that will allow the user to choose between the company’s two locations, Connecticut and Virginia.
On this entry page, we will need to incorporate the same content as the existing site, but naturally would like to see a much nicer design.
On this home page, the client sometimes puts promotional ads that they design. What this means to you from a design standpoint is that we will need to have an area on the page that is 200px by 200px where these ads can be displayed. So, this area needs to look nice when empty but also able to accept some ads like they belong there.
INNER PAGES
Once a user selects their location they are brought into the main site for that location. The locations are pretty much the same with the exception of one link, so the interior template should allow us to remove the “Financing†link from the CT location.
The home page of the location site will include links to eBay, Cars.com, and Autotrader as shown at http://155.212.33.92/ct-main.aspx
The home page of the location will include current weather information and date as shown at http://www.amerautoauction.com/
The inner pages in the sites will have a gutter that will allow the client to list the number of cars currently at auction and special deals and events somewhat in the same manner as they have at http://www.amerautoauction.com/
