Who are you known as?
BioScape Medical Imaging CRO
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a service provider who performs image analysis in clinical trials. Specifically we work in trials of a neurological nature (i.e. Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease). The main kinds of images we review and report on are MRI. We are a global company, we have a physical presence in Canada and the UK but most of our clients are currently based in Europe. We are also primarily an on-line company. The input we receive in the form of images/scans and the output we generate in the form of clinical reports is all transferred electronically.
The website is primarily a source of information about the the company and the services we offer. So our target audience would be anyone involved in conducting or overseeing clinical trials with an imaging component (specifically in the area of neurology).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
BioScape has an established logo, the colour scheme for the website should be complimentary to the colors in the logo. Nothing too dark. We have some stock photography that we use in brochures. I have uploaded these along with some other images that are a representation of what we do and that could be used.
1) Homepage - should welcome the viewer, introduce the company with an area for a brief amount of text about what we do - perhaps an area for a tag-line and then a few sentences. Headers should not take up a lot of the page. The navigation links, (especially to "Contact") should be prominent but not over bearing. Examples of navigation links we are likely to use include Company Overview, Services, Our Expertise, People, Contact. The bulk if not all of the information on the homepage should be visible in one screen i.e. no need to scroll down to see important information. Adynamic aspect to the homepage could also be valuable i.e. a twitter feed showing updates related to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease.
2) Basic information page with a header and links/menu bar to navigate on to other sections of the site. An example of what we might use this page for would be to list the services BioScape has to offer. In the example of a 'Services' page, it could list each service with a heading and a brief one or two line description under that. For more information on any one service a link could expands that section or direct to another page with more specific, detailed information
3) Diagramatic representation of BioScape work flow - a schema of our workflow from a powerpoint presentation has been uploaded (Bioscape study set up.pdf). We would like a page that represents this diagramatically/in a flow chart/schema of some kind. Each item of the workflow could be clickable so it goes to a page with descriptions, or a pop over description
