sbs2003 needed a new web page design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 29 designs submitted by 17 freelance designers.
Hello - Me Again! The last two contests I ran were so much fun, I thought I would do one for my own site.
Surf Tucson Web Services
Tagline:
Custom Web Design - Quality Web Hosting
Desired Color Scheme:
open
Desired Style:
clean - professional. Show some style but not crazy!
Accepted File Formats:
.psd (not flattened)
My local designers haven't come up with anything that I really liked so I thought I would give you guys a try.
This is for a complete remake of: http://www.tucson-web-design.net
We Do NOT like this layout.
For those of you who don't know me, here are my last two:

http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/sho…p?t=427707
This is a contest for a website layout redesign for the unflattened .psd. If you code - we will add an extra $25. (with proper html/css)
Pay is with PayPal. WesternUnion will be considered if you agree that the charges can be taken out of the prize money. Other forms will be considered if there isn't cost to me and it is secure.
I will upload our logo in a seperate post.
Here is what I would like:
Clean - Clean -Clean & professional.
It must have a spot for a Client Spotlight.
Keep away from the "techie" look. I DO NOT want the typical template based layout with servers or "techie" crud. It needs to be a professional designer type of layout.
The better it looks the more work you may get!

Sites I do like (somewhat)
http://www.imagineinternet.net
http://siderealdesigns.com
Mainly because they are clean. I want depth - more than they offer.
I looked at several different web designer sites, and basically I don't like any of them.
Use some creativity - just remember I want it clean and professional.
I am running this for only 1 week. So please jump on quickly.
I give feedback a lot so please post and you will get the feedback.
Also, I would ideally like a site that would scale to 100% - so in your design, this would be preferable (like the current site is. If, however, you don't design this way, let's make it look good on 800x600 and up.
