Design for an Australian liberty news site- $1500

A news style layout is required for a liberty related Australian site. It will be using Wordpress. The sort of thing we are after is the type of layout used by cnn.com and infowars.com. It must be attractive and neat. A header is required with a nice Australian liberty related design.

We require a professional, news style design that will eventually be used with Wordpress for an Australian liberty related site.

The website is called "Liberty Australia" and the domain is http://www.libertyaustralia.net.au. The design must feature an attractive header, possibly based around the Australian flag and/or Australian silhouette or other icons of the country (as long as it does not look like a tourist brochure) as well as imagery associated with liberty like the liberty goddess.

I really like the idea of having a symbol that contains a combination of something associated with liberty (like the liberty goddess mentioned above) and something associated with Australia (like the southern cross, or a silhouette of the country).

Overall we want something clean and professional, but visually attractive at the same time.

- Around 1000px in width to suit a 1024x768 resolution.
- A design that can be centred in the browser, though if your idea doesn't work that way try it anyway.
- An Australian flag-like colour scheme (but not color concentrated). White/off-white should be the predominant color as you look upon the page, but with highlights and focus points in blue and a little bit of red if it works.

- Please no beginners or inexperienced designers. We want something of a professional standard.
