What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Our style guide with colours is here (note these are different to the current website - you can see a sneak peek with the new colours at qa
dot brokernotes.co): https://projects.invisionapp.com/bo…L9T2A7KYV/ (password: brokernotesstyle)
- Above the fold should have this tool embedded inline in some way (https://brokernotes.co/?step=1&open=true) similar to the current homepage - but potentially also like how the 'cards' are on GoCompare. Basically, as soon as traders land on the site we want to ask them what they trade so we can quickly help them find the right brokerage. There should be little distraction above the fold.
- We should include testimonials e.g.
"BrokerNotes have simplified the selection process so much that you can find the broker best suited to your trading style and requirements within 30 seconds" - Aaron Fifield, Chat With Traders
- Include press mention logos
- Include a mention of how we test (we want to convey trust and that BrokerNotes is an authoritative source of information on choosing a brokerage).
What to avoid
Only use the colours in the style guide linked above.
Do not include blog posts - we do not need this section anymore
We want the page to feel relatively modern (our current homepage is very dated). It's also really important that the tool at the top of our homepage is the main focus and continues to be just as prominent and easy to use as the current one (about 40% of people who visit our homepage use this).
