Overall goals for website redesign
#1 Communicate what makes us different from other wealth management firms (owned and operated exclusively by women with clients that are women, people of color and/or members of the LGBTQ community; the firm focuses on building strong relationship with clients based on trust, transparency, and financial education)
#2 Drive engagement with site visitor (current site looks outdated/not interesting, want people to spend more time on the site and feel compelled to learn more)
#3 Incentivize site visitors to connect with Robasciotti & Philipson (subscribe to newsletter, send an email to inquire more about fees/services, forward blog posts or connect to social media)
We want our website to be clean, modern, and engaging. It should manifest the values of Robasciotti & Philipson (i.e., socially conscious, focused on building thoughtful and caring relationships with clients, authenticity, a high moral standard) but also needs to communicate our credibility and expertise as a financial wealth management company. We want people to be excited to work with us, because we align with their, and they have complete trust that we will manage their money well, and we're unique within the financial services industry (i.e., we're women, POC, and LGTBQ).
Design should translate well when viewed on a mobile device. We like the idea of having a scrolling carousel of images rather than just a static hero image. We like the idea of incorporating simple and subtle animated elements. We understand that the 99designs platform doesn't support animated GIFs but this is just something to think about. May hire a qualified and knowledgeable designer to animate any icons or illustrations you present in your winning design.
