Coach for Colorado’s (CoForCo) mission is to select, train, support, and retain quality coaches for kids in low income communities.
Good coaches, like good teachers, not only serve as important role models, but they often become trusted advocates for student success off of the field.
Former collegiate athletes with an interest in or connection to Colorado are uniquely positioned to share their passion and talent with kids in low-income communities while staying connected to their sport.
In exchange for their commitment to coaching at the middle and high school levels, Coach for Colorado matches its college athletes to entry level job opportunities with top tier companies that support and encourage their employees to volunteer in local communities.
Coach for Colorado is a Non-Profit organization and was founded in 2015 by Rachel Kelley-Cohn (Rachel.kelley-Cohn@coforco.org), Tab McGinley (firstname.lastname@example.org), Frank Rowe (email@example.com) and Liz Wolfson. This team has a wealth of experience in athletics, coaching, education, nonprofit work, recruiting, fundraising and organizations management.
