Desired Color Scheme:
white, red, black, grey
Desired Style:
Sleek, modern, contemporary with maybe some middle eastern flair, the "vote" buttons must be something extraordinary

I'd like to keep the colors quite contemporary with deep reds, black, greys & white. Obviously keeping with web2.0 design trends. You have creative carte blanche in terms of the layout of various modules, buttons so do as you wish.
Shouldnt be too busy, be easy on the eyes, no bright flashy colors. Audience is a very conservative old-school type.
