I am redevloping a clients website (http://karacha.com), and need a professional and modern design.

The client is happy with the sites existing logo, however if a really good new logo was to be entered then he may be willing to change it.

The client is happy with the sites existing logo, however if a really good new logo was to be entered then he may be willing to change it.

We require:

-Homepage which will include special offers/promotions.

-Category Listing Page - special offers (banner) will be displayed based on the category.

-Product Page - Detailed infomation page, includes a "users also purchased..." section, product images etc.

The client has mentioned he would like an amazon type feel to the site, although don't let this restrict you to an amazon clone. Plenty of feedback will be given.

Some comments from the client:

I'd like to see a design slightly different from the current karacha one.

I'd like to see the categories down the left of karacha perhaps made more of a feature (i'd perhaps like that when someone click on "brass" they will go to a page maybe with silently different colours and the dynamic features will all change to brass offers etc) , because there are quite a few categories this may not work on the homepage, but if someone wants to try the categories are:

Sections: Brass, Strings, Woodwind, Guitar & Bass, Percussion, Keyboards, Sheet Music, Gifts, Other

I'd like a UK, EU, Australia & EU flag somewhere, customers can click to choose their currency etc.

I like the special offer sections which people have picked up on and in general we're still going for an amazon, msuicroom.com kinda feel but hopefully something unique, the new version of this website is going to make it the largest in the UK and there has already been lots of publicity around it so we need a really top notch design, it'll be a great addition to the designers portfolio.
