To the next lucky website contest holder,
Consider yourself fortunate if GDT Design chooses to participate in your design contest. I cannot say enough about GDT Design. He won an ultra competitive website challenge with SIX amazing and super creative finalists. I gave GDT copious, detailed notes, and he followed them to the letter, while continuing to produce elegant, crisp designs. He has no ego--meaning, he eagerly accepts feedback and corrections, and had no problem adapting his creative to fit my business needs. A desirable trait in such a talented person!
I have very high standards, and GDT met or exceeded them all.
GDT did a fantastic job of utilizing my logo elements and weaved them intricately throughout all the pages of my website design challenge. He also created a strong stylized aesthetic which really added character to my website. During the design process, it was clear that he did a good job reading the design brief and understood what was required of him; this meant that his initial designs were of high quality. After the job was done (he was already declared the winner of the contest), when he found out I could not afford one of the images he used, he gladly found and replaced the image with a more reasonable alternative.
GDT is a nice guy, a talented artist, and a true design partner. I look forward to working with him in the future.

Friends of Renaissance
Renaissance Retirement Living is a premier provider of independent living villas for over 55's. Friends of Renaissance is the network we are launching to connect with people who are looking for information on retiring but are not yet ready to make the move.
Email me at email@example.com if you need further information.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Over 55's, This will essentially be the online link between the business community, residents, potential residents and seniors in general thinking about retirement.
Essentially what we want to do is to create a place where people can come and connect with unbiased information, there will be a link back to our ‘selling website’ but that’s about it. There will be no selling or units on offer as such. We hope to create a site that is dynamic enough for people to check regularly and sign on to stay involved even if they are not interested in buying a retirement villa.
The content will be updated very often, almost weekly. We will be exploring the possibility of partnering with business who already produce content for the over 55 market. Offering a broad range of content options from editorials, features, in-house produced videos and even a section members can log in and contribute or post items of interest.
• Home – a snapshot of articles/sections highlighting ‘what’s going on’ and feature pages (similar to a news page I guess but big and clear and neat)
• Features – Maybe 5 feature pages each focusing on a different interest to seniors with video/photo gallery options on each page. I am liaising with some businesses so I can pinch their code and copy and paste into on a monthly basis to updated the pages.
• Coming Events
o Calendar of events laid out in monthly view on each page with annually ‘mini map’ down the side.
• Steam Room ‘let some steam off’ – Forum about issues/policies effecting retirees
• Get Connected
o Sign on page
o Contacts etc
It will also act as a database builder. So people need to sign in to gain access to the full articles. Members would also have a profile they can either show or hide and see how many people are online at any one time.
