Hello everyone, I have provided here complete video instructions on the redesign that I'm looking for. Please watch carefully this detailed instructions video - https://vimeo.com/622422989/4f96a08e71 And let me know if you have any questions? I'm looking for a new improved version of the home landing page of my company - https://onlinecoursehost.com Here are the sections of the home page that I'm looking for (in order as the user scrolls through the page): - an above the fold header - benefits list - testimonials - pricing section - features table - newsletter section - FAQ section - footer I've detailed the improvements in the video, where it's much easier to understand visually than with text, so please watch it as it's a short video. In the video I didn't go into it in detail but it's important to foresee also a design for a newsletter section, an FAQ section and a page footer. I'm looking forward to see your new design :-) Thanks & Kind Regards, Vasco OnlineCourseHost.com
Everything is in the video, but here is a summary. I really only need one page, the home page with the following sections, here are the specs per each section of the page: * Header Section * I would like to see a version with a blue background with logo with white background, rounded corners like here - https://instructor-academy.onlinecoursehost.com/, but if you come up with a different idea that you think looks better, please suggest it * place for a title, subtitle and action buttons * the title should have the exact text "Create your Own Online Course For Free" * the subtitle should be: "Learn everything that you need to know to become a successful online course creator. Create and sell your own online course with no platform fees, unlimited students, risk free." * Add the logos of the companies we integrate with: * Stripe * Paypal * Mailchimp * Mailerlite * ConvertKit * Benefits List * please do a Voomly-style benefits list, with a lot more place to place text and a picture, include a list of items (with place for two columns) per benefit with icons. *If you can add small animated character like voomly did, that's awesome * for the screenshots, please use a drop shadow to make it pop a bit more from the background * Testimonials * This is a new section, still to be designed * please don't use carousels, so that all the content is visible while scrolling and reachable by search engines * let's leave place for a picture, country, name, job title and the testimonial text * there can be some testimonials that use more text, so let's make just one testimonials per row * Pricing * please improve the pricing section, the current design is too basic. * the basic plan should be highlighted somehow * Features table * let's make it responsive, and improve the design * please highlight the basic plan here as well * Newsletter section * We need to add an embedded form identical to this one on this page https://onlinecoursehost.com. I mean the smaller form that shows up below the features table. This is an external form from an email marketing provider, so we have limited control of it's look and feel. Please take it like it is, you can screenshot it, and make it look part of the page. * FAQ list * please don't use collapsible questions, all the content should be visible on the page * Footer
What to avoid
* Colors * Brand colors: primary: #0551C2 accent: #FF4081 dark background (for footer and elsewhere if needed): rgba(26,35,38,.8) * Brand Logo - https://d8avu785lzlph.cloudfront.net/images/OnlineCourseHostLogo.svg * All the brand logo resources are provided as a Zip file * Link 1 - https://onlinecoursehost.com * Link 2 - https://www.voomly.com * Link 3 - https://instructor-academy.onlinecoursehost.com
Please use the brand colors primary: #0551C2 accent: #FF4081. The brand font is Roboto, but if you think another font looks even better for the design, then it's OK. If you have another idea for the page header other than what I presented in the video, I would like to see it. If you could try to use as much as possible the images already present on the website, which are screenshots of the product, I think that's important, so that the user knows what he gets if he signs up. Please avoid using generic stock photos, that will usually make the design look stereotypical, but if you see a good use for a stock photo, then I have left that option opened. Here are some more ideas for the header, not covered on the video. A photo of a person would look great on the header (or an animated character), on a left-right design with the title, text and action on the left and the person on the right. The person on the right could be looking or pointing to the text on the left, to bring attention to it. If not a photo, maybe a small vector character could work. The key thing for making a header image to work, is to make it specific enough to the target audience of online course creators. To make it really specific of content creators, can we use a picture of someone doing video editing? Like in these pictures https://www.shutterstock.com/search/video+editor?image_type=photo&page=2 The person should be smiling, indicating that he/she is happy with the product. Maybe wearing headphones while video editing, and eventually looking or pointing to the text on the right, but I think the most important is if the person is smiling and that we can clearly see the screen with the video editing software. If we just see the person looking at a screen but can't see the content of the screen, it won't be enough. Because this could be a secretary or a helpdesk operator. But if we show that the person is editing video, this will be immediately recognizable by content creators. The goal of the picture is to find something that the person is doing that content creators and online instructors creating courses would identify with, and say that's me, I'm on the right website. And I think that specific task is video editing, I tried other things like filming, etc. and it's just not specific enough. To integrate the picture in the design, I propose framing it with something like an operating system window, something like this - https://i.stack.imgur.com/cLJWA.png, but maybe with the top bar in a tone of blue instead of grey. I might go the personal brand approach, so here is a picture of me with my equipment. It's a bit goofy, but it might just work. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bgfwWEZo0ASumfNNap9z_Wb_vypkAuhn/view?usp=sharing Please flip it as a mirror image, so that my arm is pointing to the left, pointing to the text. If not, here are some concrete ideas of models that might work, but I would still like to see a version of my picture in the header: https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/young-female-designer-using-graphics-tablet-522514903 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/young-woman-designer-using-graphics-tablet-530951506 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/blond-young-woman-photographer-working-computer-710762353
