Need a new website layout/template for my pizza shop in NJ. We are mainly a takeout and delivery place with some eat in like sandwiches and pizzas. We are not a fancy Italian restaurant but our food is high quality and a good value. Compared to most other pizzerias in the area (and there are about 30 in a 3 mile radius) we are very very good. We sell a 24inch round pizza (approx the size of 2.5 regular 16" pizzas) and that is what my business is centered around (as you can see in logo).
Â
I want my website crisp and clean and neatly laid out, but again we are not a fancy place so we can have fun with it… again see my logo.. an enormous slice of pizza over a quaint little house/building. I want to try and stay with the colors in the logo as I have already used them, but that does not mean you cannot add a little something if it goes nicely with what we have already.

I was thinking maybe using the color green in the current logo as an outside background, and then a white or paper or wood or ceramic table top looking inner background. Just an idea…

NEEDS:

1 page wrapper template designed for 1024 resolution, the full total width of the site should only be 960 pixels. The template will be centered on the screen, so it would be nice to use a dropshadow or gradient on either side that blends into a constant background color that takes up the remaining white space on the left and right sides. All aspects of the page design need to be in separate layers so that my programmer can easily determine the height and widths of various image objects just by clicking them in Fireworks. Image format should be in PNG, and PSD. There will be a top navigation bar which will be styled using UL tags and text - so please provide a design to accommodate this feature. The top nav should be scalable, right now we have 7 distinct areas, however in the future, we might need to add one or two, it would be nice if there is some room leftover for these extra items. The content of the site will be made up of 3 columns. The left column will only appear when there are sub-navigation items for the currently selected top navigation item. This sub nav will also use UL tags, however it will be vertical, not horizontal. This is also a variable height 'block', one nav section might have 2 sub navs, another might have 7. Please keep scalability in mind when designing this nav block. In the middle of the column will be the second column which will contain the bulk of the content text. The third column is reserved for any 'hot' pizza or foot item coupons that the user can either click on or print. Please provide a sample coupon that goes with the theme of your design, and which is repeatable in case we have 3-4 specials going on at once. The footer of the site will just contain footer links and copyright information. There is no special fancy design needed here.

Any kind of stock photography for pizza… try and not show whole item, as I have not had our food photographed yet so I do not want to mislead anyone, maybe a close up on angle of pizza or something. But I definitely want something in there maybe stretching across the top nav from right to left…
