xuamox got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Rendering for a Personal Wedding Website
Check out xuamox's Web page design contest…
Looking for a great designer that loves weddings and wedding themes! We need a rendering that will be used to create a reusable template for a personal wedding website. The rendering must appeal to a female audience and be clean, modern, hip, elegant, etc. So all we need is one page.
What's your vision?
Tagline: n/a Desired Color Scheme: trendy wedding themes Desired Style: modern, elegan, similar to the sample link provided in brief! Accepted File Formats: PSD file with well organized layers Requirements: Take a look at an existing template in use http://www.mywedding.com/ericandmona/index.html Our current layout has a header region that can fit the couple's name easily, and be legible. A left navigation region that contails text links (no image buttons) - so please represent with a web friendly font (arial, verdana, etc) A content region where all the text goes A footer region We use css, so just make sure your design can tile or repeat easily, as these pages do grow quite long. It's probably a good idea to look at some wedding publications like InStyle Weddings, or Martha Stewart Weddings to get a sense of what is going on in terms of trends and colors (pink and chocolate, blue and chocolate, etc, etc). Things we will need to know: All colors and fonts used incase we don't have them etc, etc. Our goal is to establish a relationship with a great designer that enjoys designing wedding templates.
