We're in the process of creating a new product review site in the online photo sharing space. We plan to review and compare some of the top companies in this industry. We need a high quality design that appeals to our target audience - photo enthusiasts and aspiring professionals, as well as savvy camera users
As mentioned in the project summary, we're building a new review and comparison site in the online photo sharing space. We're looking to create an authority site that is considered the leading source of information for online photo sharing and photoprinting services.
Our Target Audience:
Professional Photographers, Photo enthusiasts, part-time professional photographers, and savvy camera users
Purpose of the site:
This is a pre-sales site that will educate these customers about various photo sharing websites. We want them to learn about the benefits of online photo sharing, printing, and branding their own professional sites, and show them who some of the top providers are.
Here are some examples of companies that will be featured on the site:
SmugMug http://www.smugmug.com
Kodak http://www.kodakgallery.com/
Snapfish http://www.snapfish.com/
ClarkColor http://www.clarkcolor.com/
SmileBox http://www.smilebox.com/
Ritz Camera http://www.ritzpix.com/
Photopipe http://myphotopipe.com
Design Style:
We need a professional looking site that appeals to prospective photographers, both current professionals and aspiring professionals as well as enthusiasts and even novice users. We want a Web 2.0 design that is clean and easy to navigate.
Project Wireframes:

All contest entrants should create both a home page design and at least one sub page design. We will give special consideration to those who go above and beyond by providing a design for all three pages.
Stock Photos:
We recommend that all contestants use iStockPhoto or a similar service for the site images. Please use the comp images in your design submissions.
We will pay for the winning contestants stock images. Please bookmark or save the image numbers so we can easily locate them and pay for a license.
Questions/Comments:
If you have any questions or feedback for us please leave a comment in the discussion thread. We will be checking this on a regular basis while the contest is happening.
Good luck on the contest. We look forward to seeing your work!
