Traditionally, the movement of people and goods has been divided into two distinct spheres Public Transport and Traffic. Cloud Amber tries to provide a holistic view of the Transport network with products designed to bridge this divide.
People are becoming more aware of the impact on the environment of their travel decisions. Cloud Amber believes that they would be more likely to undertake the model shift if public and private transport were available in one place with a clear, unbiased comparison between the two.
Through the open provision of information to the widest possible audience in the format, style and content most suited to their needs, we aim to revolutionise the way data and information are accessed by the Travelling Public. Cloud Amber wishes to present trusted, balanced, reliable information to empower travellers to make intelligent informed decisions, thereby facilitating the modal shift. It can also help motorists to avoid congestion hotspots and the attendant ramifications of increased time, cost and pollution and even facilitate the modal shift.
Most people, even those with a concern for the environment, are not going to change our travel behaviour unless the alternative is practical, realistic, is not going to cost a fortune and we know about it.
Cloud Amber is soon launching a range of travel portals focusing on the needs of local and regional users together with a combined national identity. These sites will be under the umbrella brand voyager, with the localisation being the local predicator. For example Bedfordshire Voyager will be separate but relate to Eastern Voyager, which will in turn link to UK Voyager.
Cloud Amber requires a voyager logo and derivatives that reflects our core vision and current identity. We encourage designs that centre on our current logo & theme but are also open to alternative suggestions:
In addition a skin, icons and colour scheme is required to make our site have a usable and distinctive identity in this competitive market place.
We are also looking to brand a mobile, DiTV, Kiosk, large information screens and emails with the same identity.
