Coker Tire Company
Coker Tire Company is redesigning it’s portal page to a fresh, new design. We are a 50 year old company supplying tires and parts for cars from the 1900’s, all the way up to the 1970’s. Our specialty is tires, including whitewall tires, redline tires, military tires, and vintage dragster tires. This portal page will be used mostly by customers looking for tires for their vintage car or hot rod, but we also want to feature our different companies and various media.
Our audience includes from the 90-year-old antique car collectors, hardcore young hot rodders, middle-aged casual collectors, and everything in between. We want the style to lean more towards the antique collector, and do not want the hardcore hot rod look.

This page is going to be our Corporate landing page, but the majority of customers will be coming to find tires for their vintage vehicles. Overall we want a vintage/retro feel to the site, with a clean look, like our current landing page at http://www.cokertire.com/ , but are looking to better feature our content and different companies.
Width of the page will be 955px, and we must be able to add further elements down the page as needed in the future (more text boxes, product boxes, etc, below the elements shown in the wireframe). Design will be html, not flash.
We are providing a wireframe for the design, but please feel free to use your creativity/web design knowledge to move things around if needed. Also, we have 3 other sites that will need to be redesigned and will probably be looking to keep the same designer on all other projects if desired (for further compensation, of course).
There will be 4 other pages on this portal, using the same design. They will include the header, but the other elements will be entered by us, so a simple design with the header and an open page space below it would be helpful.
Again, this is a very very loose example of what we would like, please feel free to stray from our wireframe example.
