We are currently a very successful marketing and sales company named Provino that specializes in selling wines over the phone. We have completely chagned our business model, our employees, and the people who originally started this company are no longer here. Therefore we want to rebrand and relaunch the company with the new name, VinoPRO. http://www.vinopro.com is the corporate website.
A little background info about our company:
VinoPRO is the first choice solution for wineries looking for a solution to hand-selling premium wines direct to consumer.
At VinoPRO, we use our professional, hand-selling skills to help wineries build their direct to consumer sales. Our dedication to excellence and superior customer service generates new and profitable business for our clients, while strengthening loyalty to their brands.
We specialize in helping wineries expand their sales in the direct to consumer channel. Using advanced telemarketing expertise, we provide complementary resources to the winery’s existing relationship management efforts. The winery achieves incremental sales without the need to invest in and manage a call center. Most importantly, the winery is able to focus their attention on delivering the ultimate wine experience.
WE DO NOT sell products from our website. We are a telesales company - that means we call customers over the phone and sell them products.
There is no ecommerce done on our site so I do not want a site that looks like a place you buy or search for wine. We do not publish "lists" nor do we show prices of anything.
We are best categorized as personal Sommeliers to the discerning wine buyers of our client wineries. Our customers are the biggest wineries in the world - Robert Mondavi, Kendall Jackson and Berringer are some of our largest clients.
The website is purely for these winery partners to understand who we are, and what we do and why they should do business with us. It's design needs to portray a VERY professional, clean and trustworthy image of our company. I'm not talking about words here, I'm talking about portraying a professional image. I'll add the appropriate content to whatever design you come up with.
I want a design that validates our existance and says you can be confident if you do business with us because we're in it for the long term.
I'm not crazy about loopy grapevines and grapes all over the place. We had lots of those styles in our logo contest and they didn't go over well. A dark theme might play well although I'm not opposed to a light theme at all. Our logo is a very strong design element. It might be used as another theme that I've never thought of or seen before, either in a background, collage design, header, etc.

I'm not fanatical about the COLOR of the logo. I've experimented with several colors (Red, Black, Grey, Maroon, etc), all of which I like, depending on context, but red is the overriding default of all of them. The SHAPE of the logo must remain fixed however.

This contest is just for the homepage, but its design will be carried through the other sections. If you have questions, by all means contact me. I answer EVERY single question I get and I give extensive feedback on designs, especially the ones I like.
