Book description

"Odyssée d'un forçat" raconte l'histoire d'un homme déporté au bagne de Cayenne pour un crime dont il n'a aucun ... Il va s'évader et, au travers de ses aventures dans la forêt amazoniennes, puis dans la ville de Georgetown et enfin dans une mine d'or du Venezuela, il va découvrir la vérité et revenir à Paris, retrouver sa femme et son enfant et réclamer ... Dans la forêt amazonienne il aura rencontré l'amour auprès d'une jeune amé... Le livre est raconté à la première personne (le héros est le narrateur).
