Description of the organization and its target audience
About our company: We are Ocean Sky Web Solutions, a private web development company. The company is brand new, and we currently have a roster of 3 clients.
We need a logo for our company. We’d like to try out clever ways of incorporating the elements in the business name into a logo to help viewers easily remember it and grow brand awareness.
We don’t have any existing brand assets, so the logo needs to be created completely from scratch. Also, there is no style guide but this creative brief will serve as a guideline. We also do not have a slogan but we are open to suggestions and ideas.
We’d like something slick, modern, robust and trendy but with a touch of corporate restraint. In addition to normal print, online and social media, this logo will come to life in the real world branded on apparel. For this reason, the color pallet used is very important. We like Amazon's website color palette but we are also open to other suggestions.
The logo must be visible and easily recognizable from far away. It should also demonstrate a sense of unity amongst those that display it. We are also open at using an animal are part of the logo that not against having an animal that will in a clever way link the ocean and sky. See the same logos I uploaded.

1. Authority, reliability, trustworthiness and Unity.
2. Be elevated, modern, cool, and clever.
3. Be strong and clear.

Although we love the ocean, this logo is not about saving the ocean. It’s about promoting our web development services as a business. We should avoid anything that appears to be too much about the ocean as a political message. Or anything that looks like it could be used as a rallying cry for a political cause or party. This does not mean that the ocean or sky cannot be used. On the contrary, we’re interested in a logo that cleverly uses these elements to help viewers remember the logo, and want to share it with others. Please see the the sample logos we’ve uploaded.

The logo will be used in real world settings such as on apparel (caps, t-shirts, jackets, etc.), driver and passenger side doors, flags at tech conventions. For this reason, color pallets should be kept to neutral shades. No overly bright colors should be used. The logo should be bold and stand-out. Our new website color palette will be based on the colors used for the logo.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
