I wanted to create an instantly recognizable, minimalist logo with a meaning: the honeycomb represents the work, the sandglass represents the time, and together, they represents the 'Hive 25' work management tool.")

While they continued to use the original design, they constantly changed it over the years.
In October 2024, the crossword magazine announced a contest to renew their mascot.
