Book description
Rico is a young man from a planet that’s no longer habitable—Earth. He’s a climate refugee, alone and broken, living on the industrial ring that circles the dead planet he once called home. As Rico navigates his new life on the ring, he searches for a sense of purpose and belonging.
While trying to find answers about whether anywhere in the Milky Way galaxy has a place for him, he battles a traumatic past that led him to where he is today. As time goes on, he realizes the galaxy isn’t as simple as it once seemed, dragging him into a complex web of deception and cruelty that changes his life forever.

Spine details
The title of the book (The Man on the Ring) and my name (Diego Tovar).
I'd like there to be an artwork thumbnail, but if it looks too cluttered I am also fine without. So artist discretion is okay with me on the thumbnail :)

Design needs
I am open to ideas, but here are some that come to mind:
1. A cover image that shows earth (it is more a beige, desert like planet in my book) with the industrial ring (similar to Saturn's ring but man made) circling it. --You can decide if it's more a simplistic or detailed image.
2. Perhaps just the vastness of space in the Milky Way Galaxy but somehow make it eye-catching to a reader
3. The book later takes place on the moon, so some sort of image similar to the sea of tranquility book provided below but the earth would have to look like a complete desert and there would need to be an industrial ring around it.
4. If you have a creative vision, or something clever that I am not thinking of that you think may fit, go for it!
What to avoid
Nothing to avoid, I think it will be easier to give direction once I see some ideas and can offer feedback.
